HomePlayer, Le MediaPlayer pour FreeBox

bonjour, je viens d'installer la nouvelle version homeplayer 157a.
tout s'est bien passé , le seul probléme est que le media player me propose toujous au lancement l'assistant qui se déroule bien, puis rien ne se passe.: le média player refuse de démarrer : pouvez-vous m'aider SVP?

je viens également d'installer la nouvelle version et j'ai aussi un problème au lancement

j'ai VLC qui s'ouvre, ensuite j'ai un message me disant que le VLC ne peut pas être trouvé et me demandant de modifier le chemin d'accès dans les préférences mais le pb est que le homeplayeur est bloqué sur l'icone verte qui tourne et je ne peux ni l'ouvrir ni le fermer

pourriez-vous m'aider moi aussi ?

je viens également d'installer la nouvelle, version, aucun probleme déceler par l'assistant mais quand je lance homeplayer l'assistant réaparait. De plus, impossible de lancer le media player et sur la TV j'ai un ecran noir au démarage. En cliquant sur OK j'arrive sur la fenete Video mais la quand je lance une video, il y a téléchargement echoué et VLC ne c'est pas ouvert sur le PC. Voici mon log :

J'ai le meme probleme avec la nouvelle version, vlc se lance message d'erreur indiquant qu'il faut modifier le chemein de vlc et plus rien

allez dans Preferences et faire "tout retablir" puis valider et relancer HP

Cela ne fonctionne toujours pas. A chaque lancement, j'ai la petite appli de verification de la configuration qui se lance et impossible de lancer le media player sur le PC (rien ne se passe) et ecran noir sur la tv qui part en cliquant sur Ok mais ensuite les videos ne se chargent pas. J'ai essayé avec la version 1.5.6 et là cela fonctionne (excepté un pb de saccades)

Ben je vois que je ne suis pas le seul à avoir des soucis avec cette nouvelle version.

Quand je veux lancer HP, le message suivant s'affiche "impossible de mettre à jour HP. Recommencer la mise à jour".
Ensuite, j'ai le message suivant "Can't find org/homeplayer/HomePlayer class"

a mon avis la MAJ s'est mal faite. desinstalle HP et reinstalle la version 1.5.7a

en esperant que vous auriez une reponse a mon probleme

J'avais le même pb, il s'agit d'un pb d'espace  après "Program" au niveau de la ligne de commande qui appel VLC (c:\Program Files\Homeplayer\VLC\vlc.exe --...). J'ai tout essayé, "  ou ' la commande ne passe pas.

Qu'à cela ne tienne, ma solution: Désinstalle Homeplayer, et réinstalle le dans le dossier "c:\HomePlayer" et pas c:\Program files\Homeplayer.

peut tu supprimer le fichier .homeplayer/hpuser1_3.ini qui se trouve dans le repertoire de ton utilisateur windows et relancer HP

Bon évidement, ca se termine par un erreur lors du chargement sur l'écran du boitier HD.

Une fois l'erreur apres l'essai d'un lancement de média, peux tu essayer cette url dans ton navigateur et me poster le contenu

Je viens d'installer la version 1.5.7a et j'ai le même problème que décrit plus haut : Home Player se lance dans la barre des tâches, j'accède à toutes les fonctions, sauf "Media Player" qui ne se lance pas sur mon PC.

Coté boitier HD, quand je me connecte au freeplayer, le logo "Home Player" s'affiche, puis l'écran de ma télé reste noir, l'afficheur du boitier HD indique : "HP START".

Quand tu as ton écran noir tu appuies sur la touche rouge (B).
Ensuite tu as accès à ton HDD de PC.

Mon pb c'est qu'ensuite le chargement des vidéos échoue.
Remarque, sur l'ordi Home Player ne se lance toujours pas...
C'est peut-être pour ça que ça échoue !

Oulala... alors j'ai modifié un peu partout les chemins, maintenant j'utilise le VLC 0,98a Grishenko machin installé dans /program files/videolan/vlc et la miracle, ça marche
 1) n'est-ce pas incompatible normalement ??
 2) dès qu'il y a des accents ou des apostrophes dans les noms de fichier, ça ne marche plus!
... Si quelqu'un a une idée ???

Je pense avoir le même pb ke vous, je n'arrive pas à charger un film. on me donne ce message : "Error to get VLC Info.

Ma config est ok idem pour mon antivirus KASPERSKY sinon je n'aurai avoir l'interface HP sur la tv.

Avez-vous une autre solution?

j'ai lu tous les post et j'ai tenu compte de ta remarque.
Je suis allée par un clic droit sur l'icone de la barre des tâches dans paramètres-->préferences-->vlc.
En face de VLC il y avait vlc.exe. Je l'ai enlevé et j'ai mis C:\HomePlayer\VLC\vlc.exe qui est le chemin dans mon pc.
 ;) Et devines ! Ca marche comme avant !

Bon je met un bemol !
Je n'ai plus la télé sur le pc mais ce n'est pas grave je ne m'en servais pas.

Alors j'ai testé et j'ai la télé sur le pc et la home player sur la télé.

J'ai les modifications dans les préférences, le chemin de VLC et l'option mais maintenant, HP m'informe que je n'ai pas renseigné le bon chemin de VLC. (voici mon chemin C:\HomePlayer\VLC\vlc.exe)

Pourtant, au démarrage de hp, VLC se lance mais j'ai ce mess d'erreur et lorsque je lance l'assistant, il précise "impossible de demarrer VLC"  et là aussi il s'ouvre malgré tout.

Je ne peux pas regarder ni sur le pc ni sur la tv.

Je n'y comprends rien.

Depuis plusieurs mois, j'utilisais et j'étais pleinement satisfait de la version précédente a tel point que nos chers initiateurs du projet HP ont su créer notre besoin quotidien et celui de mes gosses en particulier...
Nouveau message de HP et je me lance dans le téléchargement (déjà un sacré parcours du combattant avec toute cette pollution publicitaire...) et l'installation de la nouvelle version 1.5.7a et là >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Pourquoi? ??? ??? ???

Une nouvelle version devrait:
- être plus facile à installer et ce n'est pas le cas!! >:( >:(
- être quasiment transparente pour nous qui ne sommes ni programmeur, ni informaticiens, ni éditeurs...et ce n'est pas le cas!!  >:( >:( >:(
- être aussi fiable et plus facile d'utilisation que la précédente mais là....je n'ai pas encore pu le vérifier malgrè les 4heures passées à tenter de faire fonctionner le nouvel HP et malgré les 4 pages de ce post et toutes celles des autres!!!  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

la nouvelle version pose pas mal de problèmes, nous avons fait des modifications malheureuses de dernière minute avant de faire les paquets.

Je te propose de télécharger l'ancienne version 1.5.7 :

hé dis, lis un peu ce que les gens écrivent, je t'ai indiqué le lien vers la version précédente et ce qu'il faut faire pour réinitialiser les préférences.

J'ai DL la version 1.5.7 et je l'ai installé.

Pour ce qui est du répertoire, étant sous vista, je ne trouve pas le chemin. J'y arrive jusqu'à C: , ensuite je ne trouve pas de documents and setting  ??? :-\  Je pense que c'est à cause de ça que je n'arrive à voir aucun fichier sur ma TV ::)  

Après plus de 4 heures de recherche pour arriver à installer la version 1.5.7a,qui fonctionnait hier très bien jusqu'à ce que je redémarre mon ordi.Bref, impossible de la faire refonctionner malgré toutes vos astuces, alors j'ai abandonner. Je suis repasser à la version 1.5.7 après avoir supprimer le .homeplayer et magie ça refonctionne. Je pense ne pas installer de nouvelle version avant très longtemps, car quand ça fonctionne bien pourquoi changer....

J'ai galéré toute la journée hier à désintaller, réinstaller, chercher sur le net et en vain, rien ne marchait.
J'ai donc recherché une ancienne version. J'ai repris la 1.5.6 qui fonctionnait bien. J'ai regard 2-3 films et re-malheur au redémarrage du PC : PLUS RIEN !!!

J'ai changé le nom de mon dossier utilisateur sous Vista (j'avais des °° devt et aprés mon prénom... : bin quoi suis pas une fille pour rien !!) j'ai désinstallé VLC et repris la version 1.5.7 Full (avec VLC).

Pis prise de fatigue vers 00h00 j'ai laissé en plan.

Je rallume le pc ce matin : réinstallation de la 1.5.7 full, changer du chemin d'accès de VLC dans préférence, et MIRACLE ça remarche !

C'est spur plus de MAJ pour moi !!  >:(

 Je me suis heurté au problème que visiblement beaucoup d'autres rencontrent: Après installation (réussie) de HP 157a, L'assistant a correctement vérifié le MTU, correctement configuré le routeur, mais échoué sur VLC car il ne le trouve pas – pourtant il affiche dans la log le chemin d'accès correct !!!!
 J'avais auparavant une 156b qui fonctionnait à merveille.

1) ayant constaté que l'install de la 157a ne supprimait visiblement pas les fichiers de la 156b, j'ai désinstallé la 157a, puis la 156b – et ai réinstallé la 157a "de zéro"-.
Même résultat: échec sur VLC (pourtant ce diable de VLC est bien là!!!).

2) J'ai à tout hasard (on ne sait jamais –bien que mon login & password windows ne comportent pas d'accent) ajouté la fameuse ligne "--http-charset=ISO-8859-1" dans Preference>ParamètresVLC.
J'ai également remplacé dans Preference>ParamètresVLC, le chemin "vlc.exe" par le chemin complet " C:\Program Files\HomePlayer\VLC\vlc.exe".
J'ai arrêté, relancé – même résultat, l'assistant échoue et ne trouve pas VLC.

3) J'ai donc abandonné, désinstallé HP 157a, effacé mon répertoire \Documents and Settings\ton_login\.homeplayer   (qui chez moi se trouve sur D: et non C: -particularité d'install due au fait que j'utilise un laptop professionnel ), et réinstallé complètement une HP 157.
Cette fois ci, l'assistant de configuration a bien tout trouvé et configuré, et ma station est de nouveau opérationnelle.

Pour info, je tourne sur windows XP, n'ai pas de pare-feu, et ai les privilèges admin sur mon login.

Mes recommandations à Harrisson et Baloo, si je puis me permettre (je suis informaticien et dirige depuis 12 ans des implémentations internationales de systèmes électroniques de cotation, un machin plutôt sophistiqué):
* recommandez aux utilisateurs qui ont ce problème de "VLC not found" de revenir sur la version précédente plutôt que de galérer…
* dans la procédure d'install 157a, nettoyez les versions précédentes (ou au minimum, demandez à l'utilisateur qu'il les désinstalle manuellement) car du multi versions sur un PC  ca n'est pas propre du tout, et c'est un nid à emm…
* Vous avez visiblement un pb/bug sur les chemins d'accès à VLC

alors merci pour ces recommandations, mais le pb de la version actuelle a été identifié. sur la page d'accueil du site y a l'astuce pour corriger le pb et une version va venir.
de plus heuresuement que l'on nettoye pas le repertoire .homeplayer a chaque installation sinon l'utilisateur perdrait ses paramètrages perso + sa base de média.
